Morocco Updates Travel Conditions for 12-Year-Old Passengers

Moroccan national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has published updates on travel conditions for 12-year old passengers coming from A- and B-listed countries to Morocco.

Royal Air Maroc said children under 12 coming from A list countries to Morocco are exempted from showing a COVID vaccine certificate.

Meanwhile, children under the age of 12 years old coming from B list countries to Morocco are exempted from both the PCR test and the COVID vaccine.

The announcement followed updates from Morocco’s government on travel conditions for passengers coming from countries in A and B lists.

Passengers coming from List A countries will be asked to provide proof of vaccination, as well as a health certificate as a requirement for travel, Royal Air Maroc announced earlier this week.477307b1d332209e998846ddbef1221b-800x800.jpg

The health certificate has to include the passengers’ address and two phone numbers to be contacted if necessary during the 10 days following their arrival in Morocco. Proof of vaccination is only valid at least two weeks after receiving the final dose.

Royal Air Maroc said that passengers can download the health form online before boarding, or receive a printed version of the form on board the flight. Passengers from List B countries are required to provide both proof of vaccination and a negative PCR test when travelling to Morocco. The passengers should also fill a health form, which includes two phone numbers and the passenger’s address.4833f9fc590941a9b7d252bb799a4f1c-800x800.jpg

The vaccination certificate should attest that the passenger received their final dose at least two weeks before departure, while the PCR test should be taken 48 hours before departure.

These updates are part of Morocco’s anti-COVID-19 campaign, with the country continuing to take a cautious approach to the pandemic despite considerable improvements in its epidemiological situation in recent weeks.
