Morocco: Suspension of Flights to and from France to Take Effect Sunday

Morocco’s state-owned carrier Royal Air Maroc said on Thursday evening that the Moroccan government's decision to suspend flight to and from France will take effect as of Sunday November 29. 

"We inform you that the suspension of Royal Air Maroc flights between Morocco and France is postponed to November 28th, 2021 at 11h59 PM instead of November 26th, 2021," Royal Air Maroc said on its Twitter page. 

The announcement was made few hours after the Moroccan government published a communique in which it informed of its decision to suspend regular passenger flights to and from France starting Friday, November 26 at 11:59 p.m.

Morocco recorded 115 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, the ministry of Health and Social Protection said on Thursday, adding that 115 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the same period of time.

A total of 24,405,128 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and the number of fully vaccinated people (1st and 2nd doses) has reached 22,613,171 the ministry pointed out in its daily COVID-19 bulletin, adding that 1,633,289 people have received the third dose of the vaccine.
